Am a strong adherent to the philosophy that with enough sweet and sour sauce pretty much anything can taste good. (See here for full story, but pretty much my only dinner choices are between rice and cereal (…should go without saying, but added s&s to former, not latter))

Gah, Lent! I have amazing turkey in the fridge and I’m stuck between eating plain rice or cereal.

How Much Does Lent Decrease Our Carbon Footprint? → usnews.com

(There are, like, 34 things wrong with her analysis, but her heart’s in the right place)

“If 354 million pounds of meat are not eaten, and there are 8.25 pounds of CO2 saved per pound not eaten, that meansĀ 2.921 billion pounds of CO2 are saved.

To put that abstract figure into perspective, that’s the equivalent of to 1.5 million round trip flights from New York to Los Angeles not being take”

Not a big fan of term “bun in the oven” when describing pregnancy. It makes me think of warm bread. That, in turn, makes me hungry.

Associating babies with yummy bread that I want to eat is probably bad.

I want to follow more people. But I’m slightly OCD and knowing that the 6x7 box wouldn’t be symmetric anymore would make me so sad.

Unfortunately, learning just now that I could have a 6x6 box is making me feel itchy…
