JULIET
O, swear not by the moon, the inconstant moon,
That monthly changes in her circled orb,
Lest that thy love prove likewise variable.
ROMEO
What shall I swear by?
JULIET
Do not swear at all;
Or, if thou wilt, swear by thy gracious self,
Which is the god of my idolatry,
And I’ll believe thee.
Romeo and Juliet, Act ii, sc 2
Re: Romeo & Juliet
E: I hate this play…You watch it and you feel miserable because you don’t have that kind of passion in your life. Nobody does — it’s a fantasy. It’s irresponsible.
G: You know what I think? I think it’s painfully accurate: Two idiots meet, they fall in love, they’re happy…briefly. Then all hell breaks loose.It happens all the time.

(I know I’ve posted it before, but I really, really love this series and recommend that all of you queue it up on netflix)

O blessed, blessed night! I am afeard.
Being in night, all this is but a dream,
Too flattering-sweet to be substantial.
